With the trials fast approaching, Lagos has begun to witness an influx of competitors, coaches and officials from various states, all eager to secure places on Team Nigeria for the next Commonwealth Games. Athletes from Akwa Ibom State were among the first contingents to arrive in the nation's commercial capital, followed closely by their counterparts from Kwara State.
